Who we are

diligentpixel is a product marketing and go-to-market consultancy based in Bucharest, Romania. For anything in this policy, or any question about data we hold about you, write to [email protected]. We answer these ourselves.

What we collect

Very little. This site has no accounts. The only advertising measurement is Google Ads conversion tracking, and it runs only if you accept marketing cookies in the consent bar; what it sets is listed in the cookie policy. The personal data we receive directly is what you choose to send us:

• Through the contact form: your name, your email address, your message and, if you choose to answer it, where you found us.
• Through the careers form: the same, plus an optional LinkedIn URL and an optional PDF resume.
• Through the booking page: your name, your email address, your time zone and your answers to three short questions about your company and the decision you are facing.
• By emailing us directly.

If you accept analytics in the cookie bar, and only then, the site runs Google Analytics. It tells us which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from and what device they use; Google processes your IP address to derive that. We see aggregate numbers, not you. If you reject, the analytics script is never loaded and no request goes to Google. Each cookie involved is listed by name in our cookie policy, where you can also change your choice at any time.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting, as almost every host does. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors.

If you reached the site through one of our Google ads, the ad's click id is stored in your browser and attached to your form submission if you send one. We use it for one thing: to tell Google Ads which ad led to a real enquiry, so we stop paying for the ones that do not. The id identifies the ad click, not you, and how it is stored is described in the cookie policy.

Booking a call

The links to book a call take you to Cal.com, which runs our scheduling. That page belongs to them, not to us. We link to it rather than embedding it, so nothing from Cal.com loads on this site and no Cal.com cookie is set here.

When you book, Cal.com passes us your name, your email address, your time zone and your answers to the three questions. The booking then lands in our Google Calendar, and Google creates the video link for the call. So Cal.com and Google both handle that data as our suppliers. Cal.com describes its own handling in its privacy policy. We use what you send to hold the call and to prepare for it, nothing else. You can cancel or reschedule from your confirmation email, and you can ask us to delete the record after we have spoken.

What we do with it

Form submissions are stored in a private database on our own server, in a location that is not reachable from the web, and we read them from there. We use them for exactly one thing: to read your message and reply. Bookings sit in our calendar and our inbox, and we use them to hold the call. Careers submissions we keep so we can reach out when a role opens, which is the point of that form. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or add you to any mailing list. If you write to us once, you will not start receiving a newsletter.

Legal basis and retention

Under the GDPR, we process what you send us on the basis of your consent (you chose to send it) and our legitimate interest in replying to you. Analytics runs on consent alone: nothing is measured unless you accepted it in the cookie bar, and you can withdraw that on the cookie policy page. We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation is live, and careers submissions until you ask us to remove them or they are clearly no longer relevant.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One email to [email protected] is enough and we will confirm when it is done. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).

Changes

If the site ever starts collecting more than described here, we will update this page before that happens, not after. That is how the analytics section above got here.
